Perfect Apricot Manhattan Cocktail

I love a good Manhattan. It’s a spirit-forward cocktail with a classy twist. It’s one of my favorites to make at home because it’s simple, delicious, and really allows a good bourbon (or rye) whiskey to shine. Sometimes, I like to mix it up while still staying true to the classic Manhattan, which is whiskey, vermouth, bitters. Personal preference has always lead me to doing my Manhattan’s “perfect,” which is to say equal parts sweet and dry vermouth.

This is my fun spin on the classic Manhattan, where I substitute Apricot Brandy for the sweet vermouth. It still balances the cocktail really well, giving the sweetness from the brandy and a lovely apricot finish. If you like Manhattans, this is a great little twist to it. Cheers!
