Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil paste, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to crockpot.
Whisk cornstarch and heavy cream, then add to crockpot. Stir to combine.
Place chicken breasts or thighs in a single layer in crockpot and cover with sauce.
Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 6-8 hours. Chicken is done when the internal temperature has reached at least 165°.
Remove chicken from crockpot and set aside.
Use immersion blender in the sauce until smooth. (Or, pour sauce into a blender until smooth).
Add chicken back to crockpot for 5 minutes.
